what's up. long time no see.

news in my life: i have wrapped up a post-college job. i'll be working for capital one as a staff statistician, making more money than i thought i'd ever make... as a starting salary. ridiculous. i start in july.

pretty crazy in the main. otherwise having a rough go of the semester thus far, but that's a pretty small otherwise when something as cool as a solid job is the main news. i dunno when i'll have time to get back to drawing real often, but i hope it's soon. i have collected an infinite number of pictures i want to draw and it would be nice to make that at LEAST infinity - 3 at some point gosh.

Took a while, but I'm quite happy with it! Also: it has a ridiculous amount of content. Make sure to check my sketchbook in the art section, which has almost 70 sketches in it (most of which aren't on DA). Non-sketchbook art sections... probably will go through some remodeling to make them more user friendly, but otherwise, it's a pretty sweet website and I am really glad I've finished it.

I coded it by hand, so it loads super-fast on any browser and for the most part it's pretty user-friendly. Tell me if you have any problems loading anything, or if any of the links don't lead anywhere. I've combed through it pretty heavily, though, and I am pretty sure I caught everything...

Hey, everyone! Long time no see. Finished a year of college. Now I am two years separated from my next graduation. Major ambivalence, ahoy. Bought a domain and have been feebly trying to come up with a nice web design. The site will house art, statistics, and other things when I finally figure out how to make websites (again). Of course, that's one of the main reasons I haven't posted much of anything here, since I'd rather not go through all the effort when it's all going to be on the site soon enough. If I finally figure out PHP.

I might start posting stuff here again anyway, though. I finally got through a backlog of 740 deviations and 300 messages, so now I don't have that hanging over me. And I may as well just start submitting the huge amount of work I've done in the past 5 months. I have enough art that I could post something every day for the rest of the summer and still have more, even if I wasn't drawing a bunch this summer.

How are things with everyone here? Enjoying your summers? Any of you interested in some of the work I did this past semester? Granted, I'm pretty sure I only have something like 3 watchers who even remember who I am. So it's really more a matter of where I personally want everything than a matter of dealing with any tangible demand for my work, since there really isn't any. But if anyone reads this, I dig your thoughts! That is what I dig, this is how I roll.

Well. I moved. Now I'm in Durham, NC. Very nice city. Green. Duke is a great campus, and other than the fact that I am somewhat of an awkward person who is absolutely horrendous at meeting new people (especially in a setting where it is rare and difficult to chat with people one-on-one), times are decent.

I'm constantly busy, and I haven't got a chance to draw all that much, unfortunately. I've drafted a sort of film noir detective picture, and that will be nice if I ever finish it. I've got a great image in my head, I just haven't been busy enough to flesh out the lineart I drew. Oh well. There'll be time eventually! Perhaps I'll get a chance to draw this weekend. It would certainly be nice.
